Senior Consultant/Subject Matter Expert – Medicaid Information Technology Architecture State Self-Assessment project for the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health. Project Manager – Provided management and implementation consulting to this human services software company. Developed implementation and training programs for the EHR and PM products offered by this software company. Coordinated corporate resources to promote the individual Partners’ business initiatives resulting in new lines of Partner business. Led an interdepartmental team focused on Partner problem resolution and issue escalation. Generated targeted strategic development plans in conjunction with each Partner that facilitated increased company sales of new hardware, software products and services.

  Director of Clinical Development – Designed and developed new graphical software modules for clinical decision support. Managed the recruitment and training of a 15-person software development and technical team. Researched the clinical market and customer-specific application needs and organized clinical focus groups of key customer groups in several national regions. Created the design specifications and workflow requirements for the electronic health record (EHR) product.

  Planned and generated strategies for multi-level phased development and clinical product integration with existing product lines. Developed the prototype customer implementation and training methodology and established these processes in numerous live production sites.

  Division Vice President, Voice Input Technologies – Planned and directed all facets of the start up of a computerized speech recognition and automated clinical dictation division. Recruited and hired over 25 professional staff including linguists, software developers, medical specialty experts, and registered records administrators. Acquired an exclusive joint sales/marketing/development agreement with an international speech technology and dictation products provider – Philips Electronics – valued at $3 million. Created sophisticated language recognition contexts for marketing to a number of medical specialties including Psychiatry, Cardiology, Orthopedics and General Surgery.

  Product Management Director – Established and implemented professional Product Management processes and procedures to streamline delivery timeframes for entire company.   Regional Managed Care Director
-- Directed all regional operations in the state of Texas for a national managed mental health care corporation. Administered mental health and substance abuse benefits for over 200,000 covered lives in Dallas/Fort Worth.
